Dave Spoerl is the lead for the 2009 Educational Colloquim.  The 2008 planning was conducted at http://orsagouge.pbwiki.com/EPD, which has many useful files to start the 2009 planning.

Please follow this link to add your reading suggestions for national security analysts: ReadList

The EPD has the lead on recommending a policy for member and non-membership attendance at tutorials.  See discussion in these e-mails:  EPD Tutorial E-mails 20-23 Jun 2008.doc  The MORS office provided the following data  Tutorials Counts for 2008 Symposium.doc.  In summary, 32% attendees were not members, 37% were paid members, 24% were unpaid members (directors and fellows), and 6% were unknown.

What are or should be other Education or Professional Development initiatives?

Should Operations Research have a speciality within the DoD Acquisition Professional Certification?

     Should MORS offer certifications?

     Mentoring?

A simple start would be to assemble a list of sites serving ORSA educational materials. Example: http://orsagouge.pbwiki.com.
